How long does it take to go through PHOBIA FACTORY?

You go on a self-guided tour through at your own pace so the length of the experience varies from group to group. On average we say you will spend 30 to 45 minutes walking through PHOBIA FACTORY but you will start your experience the moment you leave your car, so be ready!

If I get there at closing and I bought a ticket, will PHOBIA FACTORY close before I get a chance to enter?

We will keep PHOBIA FACTORY running until the last patron has exited. We’ll stop selling tickets at our posted time, but the show will keep running.

Can I buy tickets in advance?

You may purchase tickets online through our website.

I just bought my ticket online…do I still have to wait in line when I get to PHOBIA FACTORY?

After you buy a ticket online, you will receive an email with a ticket to print. You must have this printout with a bar code on it with you or be able to show the bar code on your smart phone to the staff at the entrance. They will scan your ticket and check you in. You will be notified when it's your time to enter the Factory.

What time does it start getting crowded?

Early in the season, arriving at opening time is fine, but as we get closer to Halloween the crowd will get larger.

Is there a way to avoid waiting in line?

We will have a limited number of SpeedPass tickets available for sale. For $35 per person you will receive a SpeedPass ticket valid for PHOBIA FACTORY which will allow you to enter before the general admission

What is a SpeedPass and how do I get one?

SpeedPasses give you rapid access to PHOBIA FACTORY! Once you have your SpeedPass ticket, you can go straight to the special SpeedPass entrance for fast, often immediate access. Please note that you do not have to buy a regular ticket in addition to a SpeedPass to enter – the price of a SpeedPass includes admission AND also includes rapid entry. You can also purchase a SpeedPass online.

NOTE: There is a chance that you may also have the opportunity to purchase SpeedPasses at the PHOBIA FACTORY box office, but please be aware that there are only a very limited number available per night. If the total number of allotted SpeedPasses for a given night sells out online you will not be able to purchase one at the box office for that night.

Does PHOBIA FACTORY offer group rates?

Does PHOBIA FACTORY accept credit cards?

Yes, our box office and gift shop accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Do you charge for parking? 

No. There is free parking around the Phobia Factory building. Anyone that asks you for money to park, is not affiliated with PHOBIA FACTORY.

Are the actors allowed to touch you?

The actors in PHOBIA FACTORY will not touch you. However, they do get very close. Occasionally you may brush up against their costumes or props. You may also come into contact with some of the sets. Please be respectful of our actors and do not touch them. Incidental and unintentional contact may occur.

Are there any age restrictions?

PHOBIA FACTORY is recommended for families, teens and adults. Parents of children 8 and under, should use discretion based on your child's scare factor. If you would like to bring children under 8 or anyone who startles easily, you could opt to come during our family friendly hours. During those hours, you will not encounter "jump scares" and actors will not be popping up out of nowhere! Carrying children through is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the walk-through. There are many emergency exits throughout PHOBIA FACTORY in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

Is PHOBIA FACTORY wheelchair accessible?

Yes, but in dark areas, staff assistance will make navigation easier.

Is there a lot of smoke in the attraction?

We do use fog machines with water based fog at PHOBIA FACTORY. Should you find the smoke too intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction .

Are there strobe lights?

Yes, we do use strobe lights and it is not recommended for people that have Epilepsy go through Phobia Factory. We have strobe lights in many of our rooms and fog. We also don't recommend people with asthma, heart issues and pregnant women go through The PHOBIA FACTORY as well. We just want everyone to have a safe time. The House of Illusions does not use strobe lights or fog.

Is it a ride?

Visitors walk through all the attractions at PHOBIA FACTORY on a self guided tour.

Is it dark?

There are very dark areas in most areas of PHOBIA FACTORY.

Is it a maze? Can I get lost?

PHOBIA FACTORY is not a maze. Some of the areas of the attractions might be confusing, but the staff will help you find your way out if necessary. 

Can my friends and I wear our Halloween costumes when we come to PHOBIA FACTORY?

For safety reasons, we are sorry to say that except for small children, patrons are not permitted to wear costumes.

Are your attractions open if it rains?

Yes! Our attractions are inside. The box office line is inside along with the gift shop. 

Once we’ve used our ticket can we go through again with the same ticket?

No. A new ticket is required for each visit.

Can we be thrown out of the attraction for any reason?

Yes. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, drugs, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else that must be adhered to for your own safety. Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and then being asked to leave without a refund.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages?

NO! And they are not allowed on the property, so please do not bring any.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking and Vaping are only allowed outside in the parking lot. Smoking and Vaping are NOT allowed indoors.

Can we take flash photos inside the Phobia Factory walk through?

NO photography of any sort is allowed during your walk through. The scenes are dark and people’s eyes (especially the actors) adjust to the low light. When you flash your camera you’re not only ruining other customers experience but you’re hurting the actors eyes. Also, the fog used inside the attractions ruins flash photography.

Although no photography or videotaping is allowed inside (including nightshot and GoPros), the actors working outside will quite often pose for pictures.

What can’t we bring with us inside PHOBIA FACTORY?

No pets! No weapons! No alcoholic beverages! No cameras! No smoking! No vaping! No laser pointers or flashlights! No food or beverages!

Do you sell beverages and souvenirs at your attraction?

Yes. We have nightly food trucks and our lobby has concessions, merchandise, movies to watch along with photo ops.
